I have tried but I'm somewhat unsuccessful so I need your help. Today was one of the worst days they'd had in quite a while and of course today was the day that the team has decided on chinese instead of pizza. With Jubilee Pizza, they got the pizza delivered however the chinese refused to deliver to the bay, or the tourist shop which the orders were usually for. 'We so home deliveries only' was the only answer they got so it meant Ianto had to go and pick it up and of course today he didn't have a car, his was in the garage having it's MOT and he couldn't use the SUV for a simple chinese pick-up so here he was, walking in the rain. Ianto pulled his collar a little higher as the wind picked up and he bowed his head against it which was a very good plan. That was, until he walked around a corner and bumped into something or someone... The Doctor knew of Torchwood here but he also knew that Jack would not send his friends after him. Unlike Torchwood one, Torchwood thee was not out to get him. The TARDIS had come to a stop, making The Doctor fall over. He jumped back up yo his feet and made for the door, picking up his long coat on the way out. He opened the door stepped out. The door started to close behind him, but before he could so much as talk a step forward some one ran into him. He stumbled back into the TARDIS. It was a second before he got his balance again and he stepped back out side to see who had run into him. He looked confused for a moment as to why the wooden box was there but then it clicked, papers from the archives flicking through his mind. He carefully edged closer when the man came barrelling back out and he gained a glimpse of the inside of the box. It was odd but it seemed as though the inside was bigger somehow and then he knew. Then said person cried out words and the Doctor had to keep himself from showing any outward sigh that he was not pleased by this meeting. "And you Torchwood." He answered not stepping up to claim his name, Nor denying it. It was nice to know that the person had not been sent here to find him for he seemed shocked to see him him. Well at least Jack was staying a good man and a man of his word. The animosity that the Doctor had towards Torchwood Personel was as legendary as the fact that he travelled in a blue police box that was bigger on the inside than the outside. He ducked his head again, almost seeming to curl up in defence. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to...I was just.... Taking a deep breath, Ianto sighed and raised his gaze back to the Doctor, a soft smile gracing his features that could hardly be seen. Jack asked me too... so I better go.... This made The Doctor guess that this was ok, I mean the people of Torchwood were just people right? No different from a lot of normal people, just knew a little more. "It's fine. You just caught me off guard." Not a very easy thing to do either. He returned the smile. "Well as you already guessed, I'm The Doctor." He held out his hand for Ianto to take. He fought to keep his voice calm as flashes of Canary Wharf and the destruction caused flew through his memory. Jones, Ianto Jones, He smiled a bit more as he met his gaze with the Doctors, trying to remember that the Doctor effectively saved him from the same fate as many of his old collegues. Had he met this person before? Or maybe even just seen him. Where? The Doctor let his hand fall to his side as he gazed at the man from Torchwood. Torchwood! That was it! "Your from Torchwood One." He said, it was not a question. It was also said kind of bitterly since Torchwood one had almost brought about the end of the Earth. But he had to remember that this man had not really been a part of that, not really. He averted his gaze again, fighting to control himself, his fists clenched at his side, fingernails piercing the skin of his palm painfully. Ianto gritted his teeth as he spoke to him. Yes, sir, I was...once...one of them! The obvious hatred for Yvonne Hartman and the things she made Torchwood stand for was evident. It was her stupidity that allowed the Cybermen through and thus caused the deaths of so many and of course...Lisa... He knew that many of the people who had actually died were simple workers and those that were higher up in Torchwood were safely protected and so had simply chosen to ignore those that had gone through the trauma. I have to go...Jack's expecting me back with the chinese. He had lost something, some one, as well. But the mans words brought him out of the thought. "They sent you out alone in this to get food?" He asked a little put off.
